Here is another example of an engaging practice that, from a professional experience, fosters students’ SCHOOL ENGAGEMENT. By school engagement we mean students’ observable participation in school activities, sense of belonging to classmates and teachers, and valuing success in school-related goals.

Description of the practice: Each student is the person of the week in turn. He or she will get attention and have some responsibilities. He or she tells something about himself or herself in a way of his or her choice (bringing an object from home, a hobby, or even using a kahoot to tell about himself or herself).
The aim of this practice is to increase positive self-image and provide positive emotional experiences. In the classroom, we learn to get to know each other and give positive feedback.
