Here is another example of an engaging practice that, from a professional experience, fosters students’ SCHOOL ENGAGEMENT. By school engagement we mean students’ observable participation in school activities, sense of belonging to classmates and teachers, and valuing success in school-related goals.

Description of the practice: The children present their country of origin, using all the means of their disposal with digital and analogue presentations as well as tasting typical food and showing typical clothes and so on.

Why?: By introducing their countries of origin, they can highlight the special features and thus also dispel prejudice
