Based on the practices we are already implementing and the analysis of its results, we want to provide the consortium schools, as well as other schools, with new tools and strategies to prevent early school leaving, focusing on student motivation and school engagement. The concrete objectives of this project are:
1. Analyse and share practices for school engagement and student motivation, as tools to prevent early school leaving. By engaging practices we mean the one’s that provide students’ observable participation in school activities, sense of belonging to classmates and teachers, and valuing success in school-related goals.
2. Select and spread engaging practices, as well as collect evidence of impacts among local educational communities, providing new ideas and tools to improve student motivation and school engagement, in order to reduce early school leaving.
3. Assess and adapt existing practices to online and hybrid learning contexts.
4. Make recommendations based on the conclusions of the developed process , in order to promote new and insightful actions.
